My theory is that the time-traveling DeLorean from Back to the Future is real, and that Stephen Spielberg borrowed it from Robert Zemeckis and used it to travel back in time to 1983, kidnapped Karen Allen and whisked her into the future to make the fourth Indiana Jones film. The proof:
