I’m currently on a conference call that is so filled with telecommunications jargon, it sounds like a live reading of a Batman comic.
After hearing the acronyms “VOIP” and “VAM” numerous times, I feel as if I’ve been caught in a barrage of laser fire and explosions, onomatopoetically speaking.
A recent Joystiq.com article asks the question, “Do you get high when playing games?”.
The small number of comments after the article seem to suggest that a lot of people would answer “yes” to that question.
I guess I can see how being under the influence might make for a more trippy experience when gaming, but for crying out loud… is casual drug use really that rampant?
