So I used to watch The Little Rascals when I was younger. I wasn’t a huge fan — I never owned an Alfalfa lunchbox, or anything — but I did like the episodes. I probably haven’t mentioned the series, even in passing, in years. But yesterday, Cary and I were having a conversation about Alfalfa, and she mentioned that she had heard he wasn’t a very nice kid. I then replied that I’d bet the kid who played Butch the bully was probably the nicest one, the world being the irony-garden that it is. Then I wondered aloud if he or any of the other actors were still alive.
Then I come home and see this article on Yahoo news.
Talk about creepy.
